Bowen Therapy

A Bowen treatment benefits you on many levels. Balancing the structure of the body helps any pain, injury or strain. Bowen also switches your nervous system from flight and flight mode to relax and heal/repair mode which supports all body systems. Bowen is beneficial for everyone!

This technique should be considered for:

Sessions last for approximately one hour. They are held every five to ten days until you need them less frequently. Some people only need a couple of treatments, others need more.

Monthly maintenance treatments are a great way to keep your body balanced, helping you feel calm, relaxed and reducing your pain and inflammation. Ideally every 4-6 six weeks is best. We can work out whats ideal for you depending on your circumstances and budget.

The Bowen technique was developed by Tom Bowen (1916 – 1982), in Geelong Victoria, Australia, in the 1950’s. After Tom Bowen’s death other natural therapists, who had worked closely with him, documented his work and began training other practitioners. Bowen Therapy is now practiced all over the world.
